ELSA News - October 2024

October 10th was World Mental Health Day and to raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing, students and staff supported the Hello Yellow Young Minds campaign.

The ELSA Team, with the help of prefects and Mental health ambassadors, organised for students to be given a yellow ribbon to wear to raise awareness for this very worthy cause. Students and staff enjoyed a Hello Yellow Photo booth at lunch time, even Luna was wearing her yellow bandana!

Thank you to all parents and students who donated, a total of £419.07 for Young Minds. 

We have enjoyed meeting lots of our new Year 7 students and welcoming them to Calthorpe Park School. They have been helping us look after Luna by filling her water bowl and playing games together. Luna’s favourite activity this half term has been using her ‘trick or treat’ dice.
