Welcome from Senior Students 24-25
Heads of Prefects
We are Immy and Scarlett, and we are your Heads of Prefects. Our role is to ensure events and activities we plan for the school run smoothly with the help from our phenomenal team of prefects. As well as organising prefects into groups and their duties, we will be looking into innovative ways to expand and improve our school community. This year we hope to foster a sense of community in our school and houses, working with them to fuel house spirit and create new opportunities for students. We hope to cultivate a supportive and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and included. We also want to increase the visibility of prefects and making them known throughout the school as a friendly face to talk to if someone is having a problem. Ultimately, our goal as a member of the Student Leadership Team is to make a positive impact on the school community. Whether it's through organising meaningful events, supporting our fellow students, or advocating for positive change, we want to leave a lasting legacy that contributes to the overall well-being and success of our school. Heads of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
We are Milo, Orla, Rhys and Sienna and we are the Heads of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. Our role is to promote an inclusive environment where all students and staff feel respected and valued despite their background or culture. Calthorpe Park has expanded into a diverse and multi-ethnic school therefore we aim to raise awareness of the importance of equality and kindness in our community. Heads of Sustainability
We are Keira and Samira, and we are the Heads of Sustainability. We are a dedicated team that will lead Calthorpe towards a greener and more sustainable future. We are committed to implementing impactful strategies and initiatives that will ensure continuous improvement and positive change throughout the school. We will integrate sustainability into various aspects of the school's operations. This plan will encompass several areas, including energy conservation, waste management, water usage, and sustainable transportation. We additionally intend to increase the plant life and help insects such as bees and other pollinators thrive around and in the school environment. We look forward to working with the whole of the Calthorpe community to make everything more sustainable!
Heads of Charities
We are Alice and Layla, and we are your Heads of Charities at CPS, responsible for bringing to life our school's aspirations of creating positive change in the wider community. We aim to support a wide variety of charities both local and international, through exciting fundraising events, and by raising awareness of ways we can individually help. Our passion is to help those less fortunate than ourselves and to promote the key values of justice and equality as an integral part of the school's values.
