Food Drive - November 2024
Following on from last year’s success, when we collected 1800 items, we will be holding a food drive during November.
We are going to run this as a House competition, with the House that brings in the most items winning.
Donations of all types of food are welcome, however Hart Food Bank are particularly in need of the following items:
Fruit juice
Custard – tinned and cartons
Tinned Rice Pudding
Tinned Fruit
Tinned potato
In addition to food, donations of toiletries, like shampoo and toothpaste, and household products, like toilet roll and washing powder, are also needed. Cat and dog food is also welcomed.
Please ensure that the food is unopened and will still be in date throughout December.
Students should bring their donations to their Tutor who will store them in their room and send them to a central location in the school on a weekly basis.
Selected Year 10 students will then receive the donations and count how many each House has brought in. This information will be displayed on the screens across the school.
The last day for bringing in donations is Wednesday 27th November and the donations will then be collected by the food bank.
