Eco Week Events

Eco week, from 19 to 23 February, saw lots of eco-related activities taking place at Calthorpe Park School.

The Ecoland Competition (picture insert) saw 14 Year 7 teams ‘battle it out’ in the heats to create a sustainable world at Thorpe park. The two winning teams are currently working on their presentations for the finals on the 12 March at Farnborough Sixth Form College.

Tutor Groups took part in an Eco Quiz on Monday and there was an energy treasure hunt around the school to find energy related facts. Subjects across the school curriculum also endeavoured to link lessons to sustainability and eco-related themes for the week.

The eco committee are also busy planning an eco festival to take place in the Summer term.
