York - March 2018

Yorkshire: a long way to go but, with 95 students this year, the annual residential trip to York took place over the weekend of 9 to 12 March. The itinerary is very ‘full on’ with lots to see and do over the four days.

We visited a variety of museums including the Magna Science Museum, The National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum as well as the impressive Eden Camp. Our tour included other attractions such as the Scarborough Sea life Centre and the Treak Cavern. 

During one evening we went bowling too; this is always good fun. The highlight for most students was the opportunity to go shopping in York city centre on Saturday afternoon. In the city centre there are the big high street brands as well as the old-fashioned Shambles shops.
