Open Evening for Year 6 – 4 October 2018

What a busy evening! Starting promptly at 6.00pm the constant flow of inquisitive young learners, accompanied by their interested parents, enjoyed exploring and  following tours around our school.  Ms Hooper and Mr Amos provided three talks. The first two were fully booked (over 300 each time), and they were joined by our fabulous Senior Students, Mrs Lambert (Director of Transition) and Mrs Justine Whitworth (Vice Chair of Governors).

With the fine weather and the informative presentations and demonstrations in subject areas,  the Year 7 and 11 tour guides ensured that everyone had the chance to see our school.  There were lots of smiles and keen outbursts from the youngsters as they experienced each event around the site.

The Open Evening is followed by the two Open Mornings and we hope that many Year 6 children and their parents will come to visit us during a “working day”.
