Farnborough Airport - November 2019

Three Business students from Calthorpe Park represented their school in an inter-school public-speaking event: Farnborough Airport Presentation Masterclass

There were five schools competing in the event in total.

Students were asked to deliver a 5 minute presentation on any topic of their choosing as long as it was in the field of aviation. Our students chose “How Farnborough Airport became carbon neutral”.

Our students won the event. Brandon O'Reilly Director at Farnborough Airport commended the three students for the high standard of their presentation. He said it was like "watching TV news presenters or reporters".

The students received certificates and Amazon vouchers and are now looking to pit their skills in a national public-speaking competition.
