Canine Assisted Therapy - September 2020

We were delighted to welcome a special visitor at Calthorpe Park this week. The school has been invited to take part in a research project by Canine Assisted Learning ( CAL ) investigating the therapeutic impact of Canine Assisted Interventions on student wellbeing and learning. A small group of students will be working with Polly the Labrador and her specialist practitioner, Lauren, over the course of this academic year. 

Polly certainly made a great first impression and is obviously already familiar with the Calthorpe Way!

We are really looking forward to having Polly and Lauren with us in school.
