Winchester Cathedral - April 2022

Our 7 students visited Winchester Cathedral on 5th April. The purpose of this visit was to explore the historical importance of Winchester in British history and as a place of worship and pilgrimage. Students participated in a guided tour of the cathedral and were intrigued by its many fascinating features which were brought to life by the expertise of our two guides. They were also introduced to the art of calligraphy and, with the expert help of the members of the Winchester Cathedral Education Department, enjoyed writing in this ancient style.

Everyone enjoyed the day tremendously, especially the gift shop and being able to buy little curiosities!
