Student achievements - November 2022

Congratulations to Chataika Chimuchere in Year 10 who signed for the Under 15 Academy team at AFC Bournemouth on Monday 28 November!

Well done to James A in Year 8 on his recent achievement at the UK speedcubing championships this year held over 3 days at the CBS Arena in Coventry during half term. There are several events but the main ones are the 2x2 and 3x3 cubes, and James won Gold in both events. In the main 3x3 event, starting with about 500 competitors there were three rounds before the final 16 battled it out to find a champion. James was up against the UK National record holder, Chris Mills, 11 years his senior.

At 13 years old James became the youngest ever UK champion!
