Cheerleading Students - July 2024

Lillie-Mae (Y11), Lola (Y9) and Isla (Y8) competed in their last cheerleading competition of the season at Future Cheer International in Bournemouth at the weekend. Following their incredible success at Nottingham two weeks ago, the pressure was on for them and their team.

There were 22 teams in their division. For some of the team this was their last competition and an end or an era for Eclipse Discovery. The students and their team gave an incredible and emotional performance; they could not have done or given any more than they did!

Waiting for the results was incredibly nerve racking for the athletes, coaches and parents. As the team’s results were being called Eclipse were getting closer to the top positions. When the judges got to the top 3 teams, Eclipse was one of them. It was very tense in the arena as the last 3 teams were given their places.

Huge congratulations to Lillie-Mae, Lola and Isla and their team for placing 1st and becoming Level 2 U16 International Champions.

These athletes are truly phenomenal and an inspiration to us all.

What an incredible way to end their season!
