Y10 Blood Brothers - November 2024

On 7 November 57 Year 10 Drama GCSE students went to watch a live performance of Willy Russell’s famous play “Blood Brothers” at the Kings Theatre in Portsmouth, to support their GCSE studies. This was our first visit to the Kings Theatre, and it did not disappoint. We had a great view of the stage from the dress circle, the theatre staff were very helpful in accommodating our large school party and the performance was really well executed and enjoyed by all, with a small few having a tear or two in their eyes during the final number. As on previous trips to the theatre, our students were beautifully behaved in the theatre with members of the public commenting to staff at how good they had been during the show. It was a great, albeit late, night.
