Year 11 London Galleries - January 2025

The Year 11 Art and Photography students enjoyed a great day visiting two of London's most iconic Galleries, Tate Modern and Tate Britain. All students visited the 'Zanele Muholi' exhibition at Tate Modern. Muholi is one of the most acclaimed photographers working today, and their work has been exhibited all over the world. Students also visited much of the free collection and experienced the installation in the Turbine Hall by artist Mire Lee. We all then caught a boat down river, giving us a great view of various London sights along the way. The students sought out artwork at The Tate Britain that related to their GCSE exam question. This visit was used to enhance the students' GCSE exam work.
