Y11 Prom - June 17

On a beautiful summer’s evening, the Calthorpe Park School Prom was held at Audleys Wood Hotel, near Basingstoke on Thursday 22^nd June.  198 students from Year 11 joined staff, arriving in a variety of transport, including  a 13 motorbike escort, double decker buses, a racing go-kart and a fire engine.  Drinks were served on the back lawn before the students moved to the Pavilion for the evening, with an hour of close-up magic provided by Jared Gale.  Dinner consisted of a BBQ followed by a disco, and this unforgettable evening was captured thanks to a mobile photography studio provided by Amanda Wigmore from Surrey Events Photography, with photos available for purchase on the evening.  As voted for by staff, Prom King was Sayful Wakil and Prom Queen was Grace Atherton.  This group of students has now left school following their Leavers’ Assembly last Wednesday, and we wish them all the best for the long summer holiday as they wait for their exam results at the end of August!
