Primary Languages - June 2018

On Thursday 28^th June, we had over 230 Year 6 students from Elvetham Health Primary and All Saints Junior Schools join us for a day of exploration and fun! Throughout their day, Calthorpe students delivered fun and exciting activities in French, Spanish and German and all Year 6s were able to try these different languages. Activities ranged from ordering drinks in a Spanish ‘Starbucks’ to labelling German body parts as well as French number games and croissants. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day and showing off their passion for languages and it was clear the Year 6s enjoyed it too.

It was a pleasure to have them and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success. We hope to see even more primary schools attend next year!
