Young Rotary Chef - January 2019

Year 10 Student Jamie D in M06 came 3^rd in Rotary’s Young Chef competition in Morden on 26^th January.

Jamie was up against Catering College students and other students from local schools in Hampshire. It is the furthest Calthorpe Park School has come in this competition and that is all down to Jamie’s amazing menu and skills.

Jamie had a tough challenge of cooking a healthy three-course meal for two for under £20.

This was under the watchful eye of top judges and the Mayor of Morden, Jamie had to have everything cooked and presented in 2 hours.

Jamie's menu showed some exceptional skills, a true Master Chef in the making!  We are incredibly proud of Jamie and his outstanding achievement.
