Year 10 trip to The Woman in Black - February 2023

On Wednesday 1st February we took 66 GCSE Drama students to see ‘The Woman in Black’ at the Fortune Theatre, London.  Our students, as always, demonstrated such high levels of engagement throughout the show and really enjoyed having both the opportunity and experience of watching live performance.  There were several ‘jump scares’, as our students sat in complete awe of what they were watching, which reminds us once again of the importance of live theatre and the memories which will undoubtedly stay with our young people for years to come.  This trip marked the last for us as a department, and with that the end of an era as the play closes in the West End after an incredibly long run of 33 years. 

We look forward to finding something new to take our students to watch next year.
