Beauty and the Beast - February 2025

Following four sold-out performances this week I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of our amazing cast, crew and creative team. Watching everyone come together to create such an amazing show has been nothing short of inspiring. Writing and directing the show has been hard work but it has 100% been worth it. It was an absolute joy to see my vision come to life after only a few months of rehearsing and planning. This year, we chose to donate to Dementia UK, supporting such an important cause means a lot to the team, and it’s extremely heart-warming to know that our efforts not only brought joy to our audiences but also contributed to a charity that makes a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. We will confirm the amount raised soon, but estimate this to be around £1000.  

I would have never been able to achieve this without the support from teachers, family and friends, their guidance and encouragement drove our creative team to overcome challenges and stay focused on our goals throughout the process. Overall, this experience has been a remarkable one, and I feel so fortunate to have had the privilege to direct this pantomime. It’s incredible to see how a concept can evolve into a fun-filled, magical production, and I’m grateful to everyone who played a part in making it happen.
