Y10 Business Day - February 2025

On Wednesday 12th February, over 300 Year 10 students took part in our annual Business and Mock Interview Day, looking exceptionally professional in their business attire. The day began with an inspiring keynote speech from Mark Russell, CEO of The Children’s Society, setting a motivational tone for the event. Students then participated in a range of industry workshops, gaining insights from professionals across diverse fields, including the Army, a tree surgeon, HSBC Bank, Alton College, the police, international rescue, underwater technology, and a barrister. The afternoon was dedicated to mock interviews, expertly facilitated by 75 incredible external volunteers. Their guidance and feedback provided students with a valuable, real-world experience, with many commenting on how beneficial—and enjoyable—the interviews were.
