SLUGG Walk July 2015

SLUGG walk is an annual event at Calthorpe Park School, where students walk laps around the school grounds to raise money for selected charities. This year our theme was Heroes so our chosen charities were Little Heroes Cancer Trust, Help for Heroes, Step by Step and Ocean Stars.

Students were given the opportunity to come to school dressed as their favourite superheroes while they walked throughout the morning.  They took part in various superhero themed activities along the route such as ‘The Hulk Smash’, an inflatable assault course, a barbecue and much more. In the afternoon we had ‘SLUGG Sound’, where students could listen to live music on the field.

Overall the day was a success, raising over £4000 for charity!
