Hampshire Book Award Launch - March 2016

The Hampshire Book Award was launched on Tuesday 22nd March by Mrs Ward.  A group of enthusiastic Year 8 students listened to the introductions of the six short-listed books before choosing one to take home for the Easter Holidays.  There are still spaces available for any other keen Year 8 readers!  The books are:

Apple and Rain, Sarah Crossan
The Boundless, Kenneth Oppel
Devil You Know, Cathy MacPhail
Looking at the Stars, Jo Cotterill
Smart, Kim Slater
Winterkill, Kate A Boorman

The students will be reading all six books and assessing them against the three Es; Enjoyment, Engagement and Enrichment, before voting for the winner in June.
