The Great Calthorpe Park Comic Relief Bake Off - March 2015

With only an hour and 45 minutes to complete their bakes the challenge was on.

There was a real buzz in the air and a fine dusting of icing sugar. Students had clear plans and timings to create their show stoppers.

The students used challenging skills to make creative cakes to bring to the judges table.

Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood would have had a tough job choosing a star baker.

It wasn’t just the students taking part in the Calthorpe Bake Off. The staff had a very competitive streak and there was lots of laughter coming from room 24.

Well done to Miss Campbell for taking first place but it was a close race with Mrs Green and Mr Moller coming second.

There were winners for presentation, taste and creative flair, but everyone who took part did a fantastic job!
