Spring Review
The Music Department presented a Spring Review of music on Monday, 30th March.  The event featured many of the school’s musicians and music groups, all of whom contributed towards an enjoyable evening showcasing some of the incredible musical talent here at Calthorpe Park School.

African singing & drumming Workshop
Dr Rebecca Berkeley, lecturer in Music in Education at Reading University delivered an African Singing and Drumming workshop for us.  A final performance took place at the Spring Review bringing a unique and entertaining dynamic to the Spring concert.

Oceans Stars 10th Birthday Party
Musicians from Calthorpe Park helped to launch the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Ocean Stars Charity which supports children and adults affected by the civil war and the tsunami in Sri Lanka.

Westfields School Samba Workshop
The Samba Band recently delivered a workshop at Westfields Infant School on the theme of Brazilian Carnival. Calthorpe Park Students helped the children to learn to play in a Brazilian Carnival and create carnival masks.
