Y9 Boys Football Team - May 2015

Year 9s became Hampshire Champions following a convincing 3-0 win against Purbrook Park at Farnborough Football Club.

Purbrook started brightest but after 10 minutes the team started to take control, Dylan A (Y9 M01) fired in after 20 minutes to give us a 1-0 half time lead. Shortly after the second half had started, Oscar E (Y9 S04) twisted and turned in the penalty area and was brought down by a Purbrook defender. Omar H (Y9 M07) scored despite the keeper getting a hand to his penalty.

Dan M (Y9 S02) got the third goal shortly after and sealed a win for the team. It was a fitting end to the season for a team which has had a great season, gaining promotion to the top division too.
